'Work in progress', 2011. Installation site specific, chalk, Iron on tree trunks. Viareggio
Work in progress (2011) represents Carlo Galli's artistic origins: the point of departure that brings together a whole series of elements he has subsequently developed over the years into his personal stamp. Galli used these small sculptures of men with headphones, mobile phones and suitcases, arranged on a beach in Lecciona (Italy), to discuss the destruction of the environment, the effects of uncontrolled globalization, overbuilding, inequality, power and citizens' freedom of movement.
